East Ayrshire Carers Centre

Caring for Carers throughout East Ayrshire

A carer is someone who provides support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. Carers may even be juggling paid work with their unpaid caring responsibilities at home.

Here at East Ayrshire Carers Centre, we provide support to carers in a variety of ways.

Young Carers:

  • Short Breaks
  • Social and Respite Activities
  • 1:1 Support
  • Assistance Applying for Training and Further Education
  • Age Specific Groups

Adult Carers:

  • Benefits Advice
  • Completion of Carers Support Plans
  • Respite Opportunities
  • Weekly Support Groups
  • Social and Leisure Opportunities throughout the Year
  • Fuel and Energy Advice
