Viruses such as flu and COVID-19 are more likely to circulate during the winter months. The viruses can be serious and can result in people needing to take time off work or away from other responsibilities. That’s why all unpaid carers are eligible for the flu and COVID-19 vaccines, to help protect themselves and the people they care for.
