We are currently looking to employ an Information & Admin Assistant through Community Jobs Scotland.

We are looking for a Young Carer or Young Adult Carer to fill these posts as they need to have lived experience of being a young carer. This is a 2 year funded post. The purpose of the role is to engage with Young Carers of all ages in the Cumnock and Doon Valley areas of East Ayrshire.

The Parental Employability Support Fund provides support to parents on low incomes who are looking for a job or who are currently in work and looking to progress.

The options for vaccination registration are changing. The telephone option will still be available, but the online service will end on the 25th of April.

The (SQA) have published a booklet and video to help learners understand what to expect with their National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications this year.

We have heard of some instances where a “no match” email has been received by carers trying to register for their COVID-19 vaccination. This is an update that has been issued from the Scottish Government on how to troubleshoot this error and also how they are working to fix any further issues.

People who provide vital face-to-face care and support for others who haven’t already been given an appointment are now being invited to self-register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
