Update on Carer Vaccination Schedule
Carers will start to receive invitations to take the COVID-19 vaccine from 3rd week in February. Those in the following categories are already known to the system (via Social Security Scotland) and will automatically be contacted by letter or phone regarding vaccine appointments -
- Carers in receipt of Carers Allowance
- Parent carers of children who received the Child Winter Heating Allowance.
We are awaiting further guidance for carers who do not fall into the above categories. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest information on the vaccine rollout as we get it.
