Carers Centre celebrates the life of Rabbie Burns!

Fair fa’ your honest, sonsie face, Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race! Aboon them a’ ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm: Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang ‘s my arm.

East Ayrshire Carers Centre celebrated the life of Scotland’s most famous poet and lyricist! Carers across East Ayrshire took part in Burn’s lunches across our centres. Some even wanted to provide some entertainment of their own! Big thank you to Jim for playing the harmonica and thank you Theresa for addressing the Haggis! Carers in Dalmellington enjoyed our very own David Pirrie’s rendition of the address. A big thank you to Frank Beattie for coming along and telling stories about Burns as well as Jeanette Steven for singing some traditional Scots songs.
